The effects should be no different from recreational marijuana use. Similar to what is seen with cigarette smoking, smoking marijuana is thought to increase carbon monoxide levels in the blood and to decrease the amount of oxygen the baby receives. This would be especially true with regular use of marijuana. While Tylenol (acetaminophen) is the preferred pain reliever, it is typically not helpful for migraines. However, there are a number of other prescription medicines available for chronic headaches and migraines so talk to your doctor about alternative treatments.
